Kristy Packer
Kristy Packer is a seasoned youth development professional with 9 years of experience working with, and in support of, young people and the adults that care about them.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from San Jose State University and a dual CTE Teaching Credential in Health Science and Medical Technology and Education, Child Development, and Family Services. Kristy has led county-wide initiatives reaching thousands of young people, including peer education programs, leadership development, and advocacy trainings.
She specializes in substance use prevention and education, cultivating youth-centered programs, curriculum design, social and emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and mental health and wellness strategies. Certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Healing-Centered Engagement, Kristy is passionate about creating equitable and inclusive spaces where young people can thrive.
